When a friend advised me to put up something on this band I’d never listened to, this is not what I expected to be greeted with. I was sick, head full of phlegm, my brain oozing of out one of my ears, my cat complaining I hadn’t fed it for six minutes sounding like an earthquake and then this video…I crawled under the covers and was last seen heading to this undisclosed location where it’s been all Looney Toon cartoons and Teddy Bears and no Mister Heavenly…bbrrr…and then I watched the rest of the video and I think this band’s not bad at all. Featuring former members of The Unicorns(a personal favourite), The Shins and Modest Mouse, it’s an indie supergroup of sorts and they released their first album Out Of Love last August.
So kids, now you know what to do…chainsaws, motorbikes, masks, swords, destruction. Or you could just go to their show and give them a hug instead.
